Nucor Corp, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the largest Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) producer in America, has reported a significant increase in its steel production. In the first nine months of 2023, Nucor’s mills shipped over 8.3 million tons of product, marking a 4% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth reflects the robustness of the steel sector in the region.
